On Tuesday, August 8th, a dangerous combination of drought conditions and hurricane weather sparked wildfires across the island of Maui. Although. more immediate efforts are very much in need at the moment, our hope is to reach beyond to our mainland community who, despite being far away, can still provide aid and relief in many ways.
Thick Mint Co. has created a collection of Maui Strong t-shirts with 100% of proceeds going towards Maui relief funds and families directly impacted. See below for more information about where your funds will be going along with various resources to see how you can help even from afar.
Growing up in California, sadly we know all too well the devastation wildfires have on communities and therefore know that they will linger even when fresh air returns. We hope that no effort is too small and that with your help, the Maui communities can lift their heads a little bit higher tomorrow and every day that follows.

100% of sales from our Maui Strong t-shirts will be donated to the Hawai'i People's Fund. Click here to learn more. While there are many platforms set up to financially aid those impacted, we chose the Hawai'i People's Fund because they donate directly to community members without the individual need to apply for funds which tends to be the case with larger organizations. However, while we chose this organization, there are many other ways to ensure your donations will be received by families and residents in need! See resources below.
